PCP Nova Vista G950 .22 PCP

Okay I got the G950 in I ordered last week. Fast shipping though Amazon. I posted in the what did you buy, but want a more formal thread.

So far it takes Avenger magazines and AR grips and stocks fit. Tank is tiny. Yes it is plastic, but for under $200 I was not expecting much. Threaded 1/2x20.

I already put a MDT rubberized grip on it and it’s not bad. If it has an avenger barrel might be fun.

If that fake magazine sticking down doesn't do anything, that looks like a good candidate for a big plenum mod. My mind always goes there, lol.

I'm curious in how it works out for you. It looks fun.

Has it out for just a few shoots tonight as it got dark quick. It hated the Strike Eagle LPVO I put on it so I threw an Athlon form the Striker on it. Shoot 15gr pellets at about 320 for 15 shots. Falls quickly after that as it is no regulated. Plenty for a pest gun. This seems perfect for the person who hand pumps. 100cc fills quickly. It looks like it will group at 30 yards. Just ran out of daylight.

So far this is a really nice PCP for under $200. I think this would be the ultimate starter setup.

Rifle scales nicely. When it is nice I will check groups.

Thing is super simple and I do not see much room for mods. That said it could be a great place to start.

I did have to shim the rail. I have reached out to NV to ask it that is something they can fix. No scope I own would get close and with adjustable rings still needed more. Small thing really, just takes the very new person out of the mix if they are not handy.
