PCP Nova liberty trigger guard for wood stock

I have 2 liberty wood rifle stocks and one trigger guard. I don't 3d print, does anyone on here know of someone or a business who could replicate the guard? Or another question is there a true necessity for the trigger guard. I keep my rifles without a magazine in them unless I'm shooting and keep them on a shelf or in a case. Other than my knock around Notos I always like to keep with me they all stay covered.

If you have room for a screw ahead and behind why not make 1 out of metal? Most hardware stores sell thin sheet metal

That would be interesting to try. I have some stainless steel diamond plate scrap that I could try. It would take some heating, cutting and hammering. I don't weld stainless but our Steamfitters do and we work for the same company and I see them every day. I'm in no hurry so that could work.

Probably wouldn’t need any welding just some hammer work a bit of file work and a couple holes!

Use some brass strips. Easy to bend and look great polished up. Something like.060 inches thick. Take a pipe the diameter you want the trigger guard and form it around it. Maybe use a little heat. If you feel adventurous, heat it up to around 750f then let it cool slowly as in don't put it in water like you do with steel.
