250Z New Prototype Stock For the Barra 250z

I made the relief cut just a little deeper and it is plenty big in diameter.

I sure appreciate the input!
I shot about 2000 pellets through my 250z, and the pistol grip broke off. Now it's loose, and the plastic that holds on to the screw has cracked. I tried JBweld plastic, but it broke again.

I am interested in the replacement stock you made for this gun. I would also like to know more details since I have attachments for my airgun. I have an Mlock bipod and a sling using the Mlock swivel on the front and a swivel that attaches to the AR-style stock.

Will this be available for purchase?
My grip popped off too. The plastic didn't crack but the brass insert anchor pulled out. I was thinking about an epoxy but didn't have much hope for anything really working. Pretty irritating. I might try the epoxy and a heat gun, we'll see.

Any update on availability or testers 😏 @Loren and do you know what you think the pricing will look like?

The first 250z rifle from Barra arrived from them and i opened the box and my grip pulled off on the way here, it was laying in pieces in the box. I tried super glue on the brass nut the bolt holds the grip in and it pulled right back out when tightening it back on. Had to get an RMA# and send back to Barra for a refund. This is a very weak point on the to rifle that we've heard a lot of complaints on. Two months later i bought one from AOA and all has been well all summer. The second time was a charm!

I cut the cheek riser this evening and mounted the recoil pad.

One of the first milling ops on the stock blank is to face off and part off the cheek riser block from the stock blank.
This how this block started out.

Flip it over and fixture it for milling the top.

Love it when a plan comes together.

I like using brass thread inserts in the butt for attaching the recoil pad. It takes a little more time and $$ but it is way better than just using wood screws.

I mold my own custom recoil pads.

The butt and recoil pad will be sanded for a final flush fit.

Installed the cheek riser clamping block. I use black oxide stainless steel screws for items like this.

They look awesome i feel like a kid at Christmas, can't wait. Still not sure about the color, I'm still looking at blue titanium with black speckled splatter pattern or red titanium/Black speckled splatter pattern are the color sample on the cerakote website the ones you going to use, when you finish one please send me a screenshot then I'll know for sure, keep doing a great job stay safe KY SHOOTER

I have been working on this one for a while. This is not quiet the final prototype but very close. I have a couple of minor cosmetic geometry changes to make on the stock and some refinements to the trigger guard. Then it will be good to go. I will be making the design in wood and composite versions in both Glass Fiber and Carbon Fiber.

I do not have the safety bolt install but it will and function beautifully.

Wood...depends on the wood blank. This Curly Cherry would be $825.00
