They’re not really roll pins. They’re steel pins with serrations on one end to hold them in place, one has the serrations in the middle of the pin. I think roll pins will probably work. I’d send Barra an email and ask for the parts. They shipped those guns knowing they were defective.

To start the price point. Its good, leaves room for aftermarket goodies. Which we all love so much, as making the rifle are own is always the goal. Tune ability super tunable. The rifle responses very well to tuning and is not real picky as to the settings. The Stock its biggest downfall as far as my opinion is concerned. Its flimsy in points not enough side mlok. For hunting it works but for tactical prs style shooting it doesn't. Trigger is ok for the average shooter, but with a little work can hang with anything out there. Barrels are good but could use a bit of help with some polishing. Barra Customer service, A+ they are on top of things over there and willing to answer questions even on weekends. Over all i give the rifle a B+ for its price point. Its a great little gun that fills alot of spots. For the beginner as its easy to work on, the hunter with power and accuracy. And the pro well we are going to find out how she does in comp maybe soon

Can I ask why you wouldn't polish it after your trial shots? Man, I've got potential on jsb hades, polymag, and am nice and tight on the hunter extremes. Crow magnum i had 2 flyers on a stock mag. Every time I have done a halfway decent polish on my, or my buddy's pellet rifles, everything seems to group a significant bit better. Is it due to the potential of a barrel issue they've had recently?

I’ve just seen a lot of people not recommending polishing airgun barrels or it you do to be gentle because they just aren’t as robust as most powder burner barrels. So it’s not really a “don’t do it” so much as a “be gentle.” Haha

I was reluctant to polish my barrels at first. But, I’ve had great success with the results so far. Several highly ranked competitive shooters recommended to me, to do it. If you stick with mild pastes etc., it’s safe.

Gotcha. Yeah, this one, I'm going to do a decent number of small things, I think honestly, polishing is going to be pretty high on the list. Its cheap, easy, but I certainly understand the intimidation factor of it certainly.

I want to see the difference in grouping a little further out before and after polish. I think it'd be cool to make this thing even more of a hole puncher.

My biggest concern, is the length of the overall rifle. Shooting only benchrest, it's about 2 inches too long for my rest equipment. Not a big fan of BiPods either.

Totally get that. Buck Rail makes any aftermarket stock that is shorter, and holds you a bit closer up if you're using a rest. I love the bippods because I can adjust the height of the rifle on the stalls, and, lifting the side window on my truck canopy, I can rest the rifle on the inside lip of the canopy on them, and get a more comfortable shot off.

I'll take some measurements when I put the BR stock back on heading to my buddy's place for a blinking session if that helps you make a decision.
