Yes, the results and scores are in. But there’s still time to look at some more Extreme Benchrest 2025 moments…
You can see the excitement on the faces of Lauren Parsons and Wes Crisp in our heading photograph! They had just placed first (Lauren) and second (Wes) in the Speed Silhouette Open Class, with amazingly fast scores.
Lauren posted a fantastic time of just 17.74 seconds to clear the 25-target course, using a Daystate Delta Wolf. Yes, that’s an incredible 0.7 seconds per target!
Wes was just a fraction behind – just 0.8 seconds per target – also using a Daystate Delta Wolf.
If you want any further proof of the cycle time and accuracy achievable by these electronically-controlled, side lever action air rifles, that’s it!
Of course a large part of the ongoing success Extreme Benchrest is the temptation of the huge number of prizes, medals awards and – frankly – money to be won!
That’s why the shooting lines are packed from end-to-end every year, together with a big waiting list too.
After the shooting has stopped and a “cold line” is called, every shooter – together with some not shooting – rush downrange to see their scores.
Then the old targets are taken down and new ones put up by AoA staff. Meanwhile wind flags are placed or retrieved, as appropriate…
Another HUGE part of the success of EBR is due to the hard work and expertise of the people who run the event. They put-in a huge amount of time and effort and produce professional results year-after-year.
But because everything runs so smoothly, I’m sure most competitors don’t even notice it.
Below we see one example. Master of Ceremonies (and Airguns of Arizona Sales Manager) Darren Schollmeyer works tirelessly in the background too – as at the Registration table.
Another example. Jared Clark runs the Speed Silhouette competition. Below we see him briefing participants in the pre-final shooters’ meeting.
Oh the rain! As a reminder, below we see Francisco Eizayaga – Mr Wolfiek – preparing pellets before the Sprred Silhouette finals.
And here’s the full Wolfiek team with Francisco – dried-out and celebrating at the Awards Banquet.
Did I mention the rain? All of a sudden, towels and any other material that could be used for a cover, became the “must have” shooting accessory…
Below. Jeremy Pepin, a member of “Team HPP” won the 100 Yard Benchrest Sportsman Class with a score of 221 – 1X with a Skout. Great shooting, Jeremy!!!
Below. Roger Lait from the UK was shooting a KalibrGun Snipe 2 in the Benchrest competition.
While Scott Hull was shooting a Skout.
Below. Nick Gregoris airing-up in the rain before the Speed Silhouette finals.
Sorry, but I couldn’t even see who this was. Look at the rain all over the gun, even dripping off the barrel shroud…
That’s why good spotting scopes come complete with a set of weatherproof clothing!
I hope that this post has given you some more Extreme Benchrest 2025 moments to enjoy
