I spent a lot of my teenage years in England. I shot my first air rifle at the shooting galleries at Southport (English Beach Resort) when I was 8. A few years later I spent all of my money on the ‘Shooting Star
“ challenge at the same fair. It was expensive for a kid, an adrenaline rush and practically impossible to win. A few years back I saw an ad in Shotgun News advertising the used guns. This would be a fun challenge, especially with a full-auto airgun.

Not only do i remember it, i still play it! I print out the targets i found on line, and use my Barra BB gun. We have two for side by side action.
2 mags gives you 100 BB's. I think Barra has 100 BB mags now. No stopping for reloads. I always loose a few BB's on reload.
I would take a picture, but the set up is in Penn. where things like that are legal......

I used to play, and win, that game every year at the fair! Its all about trigger control, and shooting around the star, to cut it out!

Yep. I was born 89 but remember playing it at the state fair in the 90s. Tons of fun. Haven’t thought about it in years. Welp, time go go down another rabbit hole I guess.
89? Ohhh lord, I have gotten old. By 89 I had graduated high school, served my hitch, and was in police academy. I guess that makes me an old kid...at heart anyway.
