Continuing with Hard Air Magazine’s coverage of the IWA OutdoorClassics show in Germany, let’s take a look at BRK and Daystate at IWA 2026…
Regular HAM readers will know that most of the new 2026 announcements from the company have already been covered in HAM – some shown at the British Shooting Show a few weeks ago. But it was still interesting to see the new products “in the flesh” and hear about their background and development.
My guide to the new BRK and Daystate products was Olivia. That’s her in the photograph above. Thanks Olivia!
Of course, the Blackwolf featured prominently on the Daystate side of the stand. A full range was lined-up for review and was – from my observations – very popular with visitors.
However the Delta Wolf and Alpha Wolf are still “front line” models for the company and also figured prominently.
And – for all fans of traditional wood-and-metal Daystate air rifles, the classic Huntsman Revere shows no signs of going away. That’s good!
A major focus for BRK and Daystate at IWA 2026 was the new range of BRK Ranger XR2 series PCP air rifles. They were featured on wall murals and spread across the display areas in force.
In total, there’s four models included in the new Ranger XR2 line. They are designated as – in order of increasing price – the “Lite”, “Recon”, “Compact” and “Tactical”.
These are chunky, compact airguns that build upon the reputation of the original Ranger as a versatile, reliable pest-control tool.
Now the range includes the longer Recon and Tactical models that offer higher power levels and appear to an even wider range of buyers.
Plus, the BRK Ghost was shown tripod-mounted in “anti aircraft-style” configuration that’s popular around the show.
Finally, Olivia enlightened me about the BRK and Daystate “Zero” naming concept.
I have to say that somehow I had intuitively associated the Ghost and Blackwolf Zero models with a low-calorie soft drink. But actually, that’s far from the truth!
Actually the Zero name is defined as representing the opportunity for moving one airgun from a minimum-configuration “zero”, to fully-loaded “hero” state.
It was right there on the wall!
Now I know…
So that’s the news from BRK and Daystate at IWA 2026.
But there’s more to come from IWA OutdoorClassics 2026. Yes, this really is the biggest trade show in the world when it comes to airguns!
