Another 1st place finish at NRL22 today for your ol' pal Air Shootist! ;)

This morning I headed out to Aurora Sportsman's Club to shoot the July NRL22 event - in the airgun division, of course!
It was a fun day with lots of extremely experienced competitors, I saw many $5k+ rimfire rifles out there. Anywho, came in 1st for airgun, 4th overall. Not bad! That's my 4th NRL22 Airgun 1st place in a row using the FX Panthera .22 600mm with .218 30 grain Patriot Javelin slugs!

Oh, also - the jersey seen here will soon be available at www.myhighpressureair.com! It won't have your name on it like mine does but it's still super dope, and of course it is because I designed it!

Anyone else shooting the NRL22 matches? They are super fun and if you're thinking about getting into it, just do it! After my first one in March (which I was nervous for) I felt right at home at every subsequent event!

You're welcome! I find the ones with unstable or wiggly barricades the most difficult! Like the top of a folding chair or the dreaded saw horse!

Thanks, Rob! I had been designing my own Air Shootist jerseys for a while and got the chance to design one for HPP. I think they are now available on the store. I like doing the "airgun fashionista" thing so expect some different patterns and variations soon!

Warren, do you shoot the Option (local) stages, and how are you doing on the longer range ones that always seem to pop up for the NRL-22 matches. I know at Rio Salado they always stretch them out to 250+ yards...

I happened to see an email notification for your reply here, which reminded me to unsubscribe from HAM notifications as I don't think I'm gonna post on this forum anymore... I'll still be on AGN, though, so you guys can always catch me over there!

To answer your question, though, I do shoot the optional stages because if I didn't I'd likely not "win" the match in my division. They determine winners at my club by NRL22 + club stages, so I'd be shooting myself in the foot by not doing them. I usually score on par with most the rimfire guys at the longer ranges and I have fun with those oddball stages! The Panthera can handle them!

Gotcha... I was moving the opposite direction away from AGN to HAM, but will probably stay with both. I won't make the PA Cup this year, was going to shoot the Utah EFT GP and 100Y BR event 18-19 Aug but had family emergency back in PA I needed to deal with.
I'll be at EBR, not sure if you're shooting in that, but for sure next year at RMAC, and maybe NAC.
