Break Barrel Adjustable front sight for HW30S and HW50S

I have several types of aperture (peep) rear sights but only Williams makes one that doesn’t run out of downward elevation adjustment. But it is too far forward for 2-3 inch eye relief. The Avanti peep fits okay but is so heavy it walks off the receiver. Air Force Edge has an adjustable front sight for elevation which solves the problem if the dovetail jaws are rounded enough to grasp the round Weihrauch barrels. But shipping costs as much as the sight for whatever reason I don’t know.

Does anyone know where an elevation adjustable front sight can be found that fits the round Weihrauch?

Thanks jps2486. It looks to be a mirror image of the Daisy Avanti peep that come with the Avanti 753S. I have two but they walk off the receiver. How did you overcome that. I was not able to come up with a stop pin solution.

I took one of those Avanti peeps to my gunsmith. He drilled and tapped the underside and inserted a screw as a stop pin. So far so good! Check it out, with a few pictures here: TX200 Mark III: Part 1 | Blog | Pyramyd AIR

Roamin, many thanks for this solution if I can get one of mine drilled and tapped. Somehow I missed your report back then. You obviously were all too aware of the walking off problem. Even Gunfun1, life long machinist, was thankful for your tip.

Not new to Hard Air reports but being unsure what to expect I wanted to tip toe in when I joined. Though I’ve been around guns my whole life, my foray into airguns only got serious several years ago years ago and hardly consider myself a mentor.

I'm going to look into drilling and tapping a hole on the sight body to insert a grub screw of sorts to fit into the anti-recoil holes on the top of the gun. Should be pretty simple.
