Others 1200G trigger adjustment in or out?

The trigger adjustment screw on the 1200G break barrel, is the screw turned in or out for a lighter trigger?

The screw behind the trigger is turned out to make the trigger lighter. It simply adjust the amount of preload on a spring.

Thank you. Can you tell me how many turn out I can safely go before I run out of threads? I turned it out 2 full turns so far but would like the trigger to be a little lighter.

From fully turned in, 6 full turns out will relax the spring tension as much as the mechanism will allow. There is a screw forward of the trigger blade. Turning that in will reduce the length of the first stage take up. You can turn it enough to eliminate the first stage. I don't recommend turning it past that point, as it will reduce sear engagement. That will make it much lighter and shorter, but also unsafe. Not worth it.

Thank you very much. I'll count the turns in till stop from where I am now so if needed I can go back to where I am now. 2 Turns out seems like the trigger is a little bit lighter, but I would like it a bit lighter. Is it possible to get the trigger as light and smooth as a PCP trigger? I'm thinking no because of the power source.

Unfortunately, not with this style of trigger group while maintaining safety.
