1100Z 1100z Gen2 177 barrel swap?

Welcome to HAM! Good question. You certainly wasted no time in starting to want to tinker.
To save time, TL/DR; I don't have a definative answer for you, hopefully someone will chime in with one.
I would add that it is a good possibility to look into and email Barra directly to ask about. I say this because the 1100 is very similar to the Gauntlet which was based on another gun that @hameditor sells parts for still (I believe), which you could "swap the top" on a Gen 1 anyway, between a .177 and a .22. So, I'm thinking that it is entirely possible and even plausible, that you could do that with this iteration. I know there are bottle cylinder difference but what I'm saying is that they do make an effort to keep things the same to keep the parts count down. Adding a regulator to the Gen2 did nothing to cause them to have to change the barrel, so I would doubt that they did. I'm not sure, but I don't think that you would be wasting your time to ask Barra about it, if nobody on this website hasn't done so already. FYI, Barra sells the barrels for their guns for really cheap, so you could just buy one from them too.
