Rick Rehm really knows his stuff! I sent my Crosman/Benji 392A 2007 Vintage to him (Airgun Revisions) for a Reseal/Tune Up on a Monday and got it back A Few Days Later (The Following Thursday) that's what I call a super quick turn around! He's also a very personable guy who enjoys talking airguns.
I spoke to Darren at AOA a few weeks ago and he told me that AOA has received a quantity of the New Weihrauch HW100X! They (AOA) will be testing them to get an assessment of Manufacturer's Velocity,Shot Count, and Energy Claims before posting their availability on the AOA Website. Darren also...
I bought a Daystate Huntsman Revere Safari .22 from AOA last September and really liked It so much I had to get the .177 version. I ordered It a few days before the July 4th weekend (Thanks Jake AOA) and have been having a ball taking out a group of Tree Rats that wiped out my Japanese Apricot...
I bought a DRS Classic MK1 (walnut) .22 500mm bbl two years ago. It loves JSB 18.1 Jumbo's. It's got some bark to it so I put a Donny FL TATSU on it, It's my Brown Rat & Squirrel Eliminator and It excels at that. The 500mm bbl even with the moderator on it shoulders well. I'm getting close to...
I grew up In New York City Queens County to be exact and as far as I can remember Air Guns have always been Illegal In NYC, of course It didn't stop me from having BB and Pellet Guns while I was growing up! Me and my like minded friends got our parents to drive out to the suburbs and purchase...
Good news PoP's I oiled the Pump Cup on my 362 and pumped It up a few times and let It sit over night, tried It this morning with Crosman 14.3 HP's (8 PUMPS) and was getting 615-645 FPS Looks like I'm making progress! Thank's for the advice!
Just a thought here I seriously doubt that most of the people who purchase multi pump pneumatic air rifles
have Chronographs and check their Air Rifle's velocity! I would classify them as Casual Air Gun Shooters, so they would not try to verify the Airgun Manufacture's claimed velocity figures.
For the love of me I can't get a good sight picture with the Plastic Breech Rear Sight Set Up (That Also Goes For The 2240,1322,1377) so I have to swap out the plastic breech for a steel one, and to answer your question the Accuracy with the Crosman MIM rear sight and or a scope Is very good...
I'm on the East Coast, Long Island to be exact aprox 5 miles from the Atlantic Ocean so elevation would not be a factor. I'll try changing my pumping technique like you suggest and see what happens!
Yes Pops 8 pumps which is the recommended max # of pumps! The highest velocity I achieved with Crosman Premiere 14.3 grains was 585FPS but mostly getting 545-560 range I did get It slightly over 600 with RWS 11.9 grain WadCutters. I'll try oiling the pump Cup with silicone oil and let you know...
Guys I wanted to get an opinion on something that Is a little confusing
I have a bone stock Crosman ( Brand New) 362 and shooting Crosman Premiere 14.3 GR HP's I can't get close to 600FPS!
My Chronograph is working properly and I saw a few vids on Youtube wear OTS Airguns and Airguns Of Alaska...
I received my Benjamin 397 .177 yesterday afternoon, I won It on Ebay & paid just under $300 w/shipping and tax!
I'm thinking Its a mid 90s production model NIB Made In USA at the Crosman Factory In NY (Even Has The Hang Tag On The Trigger) 8 pumps with a 7 grain RWS Pellet Is giving me 835 FPS!
I use the empty pellet containers to hold my Home Made Fire Starters. I melt Vaseline and put dried wood shavings In the empty pellets tins, then add (Pour) the liquified Vaseline Into the tins lined with the wood shavings. after the Vaseline cools Into a paste I use it to start my Lump...
