Hello, I am now an owner of the RTI Mora 2 and can’t wait to get more of a deep dive into this gun. I thought it would be a good idea to start a discussion on tuning, and maintenance of the RTI Mora.
With the majority of shooter’s going over to slugs, why isn’t there any slug classes for benchrest at Extreme Benchrest, or RMAC? Seems like pellets are becoming obsolete expect for stuff like field target and 50m benchrest. I’m interested in competing, but have not desire to buy a benchrest...
Hey everyone, so I sighted in this morning and shot a bit. Decided to shoot again in the afternoon and I’m getting a 3/4” drop in POI, almost a full mill. It’s 70 degrees in the morning and 95 in the afternoon which is a big shift. Should I try another scope? This will greatly affect my score.
Just curious because that is all I use now for hunting and target shooting. I rather have a gun that I can use for both instead of buying a dedicated gun for pellets just for competition.
Does anyone have any detailed instructions on how to remove the probe, hammer, regulator gauge and valve? I have the schematics, but they are not doing much for me. It is for an Evol Mini.
Would be sweet if one could direct me to a complete disassembly video, or make one. I’ve seen some, but it would be sweet to see the valve get removed and a complete reseal of the Evol.
What do you guys think the chances are that Daystate will come out with another mechanical field target rifle like the Tsar? I have a Redwolf, but I want a mechanical rifle as well.
Shot a classic over the weekend and really like the simplicity of it. I had a L2 in the past and didn’t really care for it, so I hoping Edgun will have another run of the classics. Suits my needs a lot better.
Love the quality of these guns and would love to shoot one for field target. I’m hoping Tom will make guns for field target. The market seems wide open for a real quality made field target gun. Thomas is the only one I can think of that sort of hangs with AAA when it comes to quality.
Well, I’ve been tuning a BRK Ghost in .25cal for extreme benchrest. The numbers are great, but the accuracy down range isn’t. I’ve been shooting the 33 grainers from 880-930 with about the same results. Some speeds are worse than others. Oddly enough the FX branded 33 grainers shoot the best...
Are you guys shooting the regular king Heavy’s, or the MK 2’s? I’m shooting the regular kings around 920 fps and I feel like the gun could do better accuracy wise.My reg is set around 145 bar. Some tips would be greatly appreciated.
