I wish I could afford FX and Daystate. I have to settle for AirForce on this side of the pond. I do have some superb sproingers that were made in the UK many, many years ago. Air Arms does indeed make some superb sproingers, but I am afraid the prices are getting to be a bit ridiculous...
I have several sproinger .177 air rifles. I should also amend my post with the fact that many of these competitors practice several hours a week just for these matches. I do have several spinner targets and on occasion I do "compete" with my grandson and others on my land, but I lack the time...
From what I saw on the HAM sight about this competition should explain why so many airgun shooters do not compete in FT. Most of us cannot afford it. It is still a rich person's sport. Custom made airguns and outrageously priced scopes. Really?
