I think that making sure you are using the correct diameter of slug, For instance the NSA slugs I have are .217. The same slug fits differently in the 3 different brands of Rifles I have shot them in.

I only fill My tanks to the amount that the Gun can handle. I can then tether the bottle to the rifle and shoot a ton of shots.

The reason I chose the Carbon over the Aluminum is from what I read the Carbon bottles usually just start leaking rather than a full blown rupture.

Same, mine are also Carbon and out of date but I never fill them over 3500 psi. So far so good. Aren't the aluminum ones a much lower PSI rating? Like 3000?
