That's the problem with older CO2 guns, especially if you bought it used, unknown history. You’ll never know when the seals will go bad on you. I always add Pellgun Oil to the CO2 cartridge when loading and lube all visible moving parts to maintain my guns. I doubt you're doing anything wrong if...
I'm thinking about buying the Vortex Optics Diamondback HD 2000 Laser Rangefinder. Do you know anything about it? My binoculars are cheap Chinese ones and need to be replaced. Maybe a combo range finder and binoculars would work? Any member feedback would be appreciated.
Henry Ford has done five of my 600s. Michael's Lock Stock and Barrel one. I have another 600 I'm going to send to Rick. I think Henry Ford is overrated, especially for the price of his work.
I had Rick go through it because he's the best. I've restored/resealed many Crosman air pistols. Seven 150s, five 357s, four 38Ts and the list goes on...
This is a Smith and Wesson 78g .22 caliber CO2 single shot pellet pistol. It was designed by Smith and Wesson and closely resembles their Model 41. These airguns are very accurate and hard-hitting. I had Rick Willnecker of Precision Pellet go through and reseal it. I bought it from an estate...
I use CCI .22 High Velocity ammo rated at 1250 fps. It's very accurate and fast. My shotgun slug rounds travel at 1650-1750 fps. Transonic destabilization with pellets depend on many different factors, that said, I still prefer chrony equipment that allows me to shoot airguns or powder burners.
Wouldn't someone want to know if their air rifles were shooting at supersonic speeds so they can slow down the fps? What if you also use your chrony for powder burners? I personally want my equipment to span the entire spectrum of shooting sport velocities.
Someone on Airgun Nation was being critical of the FX Archery Chrony. He said faster fps 1100-1300 does not show up, amongst his other comments? I'll stick to mine.
