Others If you were designing a new springer....

If I was going to design what I think would be the perfect springer, it would somehow be a combo of the hw95 with the sig ASP20. Somewhere between 15-18 ft lbs in 22 cal, length close to 95 or "carbine" like, weight around 7 lbs. Lockup mechanism and picatinny rail from the ASP20 along with the...

Your favorite gun for short range ratting?

Haha Hard not to promote good things, especially with so much crap out there. I added a huma fill probe with aluminum dust cap that stays on the gun(i hate fill probes so this makes like a standard foster fill) i angled the air tube so that it tucks up nice and out of the way. Aside from that I...

Your favorite gun for short range ratting?

they are fantastic shooters, highly accurate and stout build. And yes, this is my absolute favorite offhand shooter I've ever owned. Very light, balanced well, great power and shot count, folds up for moving around in the truck. Great guns.

    Varmint hunting with .177

I've been subscribed to your channel for years and watch all your videos the day they come out. Your content is fantastic, sad that your channel wouldn't just be blowing up even more. Probably because you don't put a bunch of BS hype titles in your video covers for the simpletons. Start using...

    Bye bye .22

Lol that is an odd thing to say, and simply inaccurate. That may be your feelings on the matter but that is far from fact. Reminds me of when guys hit an elk with a 300 win mag and lose it, then come back next season with a 338 ultra mag because the 300 wasn't "powerful enough" to kill. Bad...

    Bye bye .22

TBH, I only enter on my .02 to these topics for one reason, and thats because lots of people enter airguns reading these forums. They might have an affordable pellet shooter they were going to get to dispatch some pests or go hunting and then get unsure reading all our inputs if they have enough...

    Bye bye .22

Not a fan of the hades tbh. And 23 ft lbs is more than enough to kill them, they are certainly dying with vital shots just not right there. As far as pellets go, standard domes hit just as hard. You are right that if shooting pellets, than the .25 will certainly part with more energy. But if...

Your favorite gun for short range ratting?

For all close/medium range pesting including ratting i love my compact katran in 22. Shooting 18 grainers at 780 fps im getting 3.5 mags or 60 shots. I've done around 10 night rat hunts at a dairy that is absolutely infested and the katran has taken out hundreds of them.

    Bye bye .22

If your shooting pellets, head shots head shots head shots. Thats the only way they will be DRT. If you switch to good expanding slugs that will be night and day difference. I can tell you with absolute certainty it is not the caliber, its the ammo. I would not be surprised to see a shift...

Atomic XR a mixed bag in a crowded house…🙈

Good little outing! That atomic is a sweet little compact, I looked hard at that and the pathfinder before settling on my katran compact which has been flawless. What kind of shot count are you getting at that power?

Others Ever since owning only AF guns

It doesn't get much simpler than airforce, which is what makes them reliable. Things I don't like- low efficiency, single shot, dovetail instead of pic rail. I might just be picky though.

    EVOL Evol, "the hunters gun"

As alot of you know, I own two airguns one being my 15" Evol in .22. Im not one to pull a gun out of the box, shoot some shots on target and over chrony then rant and rave. As a user and not an "influencer" in any way, all of my opinions are subjective and good or bad I will share my...

    Others GX E5k2 initial impressions

My thought process was I never regretted going up to the high end realm of airguns, so hopefully the higher end accessories will be worth it the same.

    Others GX E5k2 initial impressions

Well the new compressor has landed. Was a very simple unbox and startup, basically just pull out of the package, add coolant and go. I gave it a few dead head tests to make sure it got to pressure easy and held after shutoff. Then I hooked up the 6.8l tank and gave it its first run. From 200 up...

Others Next compressor for tank filling

Yong hengs aren't bad for what you pay for, they help many on a budget fill tanks and guns usually for awhile. I got my use out of the ones I've had and I know alot of people do. Even though they're rebuildable I've never been successful at it, and I can turn a wrench. Time will tell if this new...

Others Next compressor for tank filling

Well, after reading as much as I could and kicking things back and forth I ended biting the bullet and getting the gx e5k2. It looks like a robust unit that should last filling my tank weekly-monthly depending on the time of year. I will report back when I recieve it and get some use under its belt

Others Next compressor for tank filling

@CTAirgunner As far as I can tell the super and turbo chargers are discontinued? I had wanted one of those in the past as well. I'm looking hard between two GX pumps. Cs4-i and the E 5k2 as they seem to have a decent reputation for reliability and ease of maintenance. The main difference being...

Others Next compressor for tank filling

So I have owned a fair amount of compressors now. 2 vevor portables and 3 yong hengs and currently still own my gx le-2 which i love for portable gun fills. I really prefer having my 74 cu ft tank though for easier fills in the field, but my 3rd yong heng went down around 8 months ago and I have...
