Dairies and farms usually want these guys gone. They eat a ton of feed, poop on everything, nest where they shouldn't and breed like rats. Stop by any local farm and make sure you tell them pellet gun and alot of times they let you have at it!
I haven't owned a 30 cal, but I have the same size Evol in .22 and I would imagine a good reg pressure would be somewhere between 2100 and 2250 for pellets. 2400 probably better for slugs. I believe the 30 cal magnon with a 44 grain pellet at 880 fps is rated for around 30 shots
I dont like bashing brands, as performers fx is has some of the highest performing guns out there and many people own them with no problems. For instance, I owned the maverick, which the wildcat bt is the exact same gun. I had very minor issues with that one like a couple bad gauges and the...
nothing but problems with them. I've probably had the regs out of this gun legitimately 20+ times. Stripped out 2 bottle adapters, since they're made of aluminum instead of steel like they should be. Had to replace the entire valve assembly, along with multiple guages and every o ring on the...
Knocked a couple of these guys down a few days ago as well, think we ended up with around 20ish but these were what could collect and give to the farm workers.
I've owned 2 30s in .22, 95 in .20 and .22 and 50 in .177 , .20 and .22. I loved all of them but found the 50 to be the best all around for plinking and midrange hunting. The 30 was the best plinker for sure with a nice soft recoil and the 95 was excellent for hunting mid-longer range. Every...
I've owned a few of them, my favorite was the wildcat bt compact in .22...which I sold, it moved hands again, and I am now currently working on it for the umpteenth time. I like the performance of fx, but they're reliability and build quality lack imo
I actually had thought about doing this exact thing, but then I realized I would only be collecting them for a picture then dumping them. I think the best way to "collect" them is going to be a scope cam
I've owned the veyron compact 3-12×44 ffp for a few years now, it lives on my katran compact and I absolutely love it. Tracks like its supposed to, has good glass and holds up to field conditions. Great scope, especially for the money.
Yea they're nasty little buggers. Not only are they destructive ass hell to crops, canal banks and such but spread disease to livestock. They are no different than rats basically and the goal is to take em all out
The plague and tularemia to start. Theres a handful of others, but any fleas that come off them(which starts very soon after thier dead) can transmit them
Went out for a couple hours to some orchards I visit regularly to pest hunt. I almost never take pictures with ground squirrels, mostly because I don't want to touch them. They carry alot of disease and the fleas that come off them can transfer it. The other reason is many times they fall down...
Like @pan60 posted above there is a very good thread with all the o ring materials, durometer and sizes. Also, you can download all the pdf schematics on AAA website.
As said above, probably be best to bite that bullet and get that tank filler. Lots of payment programs to help make that an easier ordeal.
You probably remember my thread about my dilemma between getting a 4th yong heng or going "up a tier" and getting a higher quality compressor. I nearly...
I have played with some lightweight slugs and it did good with them, but being a compact getting the power up for slugs is just not going to happen. These cz barrels are notorious for shooting slugs, but my barrel loved the jts 22.07 pellets which are a great compromise between pellet and slug...
