I dug out my old RWS Model 52. Tried firing a few shots through it and I noticed weird Chrono numbers. I decided to take it apart and see what was up. I noticed the spring was broken into 3 pieces. The gun has less than 500 pellets through it. I checked the piston seal and all seems good there...

So I can see where it looks like you opened up the area for the safety. Did that part break in 1/2? It should move when you pull the trigger cocked or not. Todd

When you cock the gun, that spring pushes down the part you are moving manually. Locking it in place until you pull the trigger. Something is not right there. That spring in your last pic pushes down on the part you are moving manually. Check all of that mechanism to make sure it is all moving...

I totally get it. My shooting range is 70 miles away. I have to fill SCBA tank, charge gun. Take support stuff for gun (Probe, hoses). It was so much simpler before, toss gun in, a few tins of pellets and on your way. Todd

I am still trying to decide on returning for refund. I received replacement gun, but it looks like a refurb unit. Has some scratches on it, where it looks like it was clamped in a vise on the air tube. The good part is it is Gen 1. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet. Hoping to shoot it on...

I am thinking it may take a bit of time to get it sorted. Not sure if this is an option, but in researching this gun. It appears it is the same gun basically as the Artemis M30 and the Snowpeak M30C. Would it be possible to get a barrel from one of those guns. Todd
