    Notos Notos or PP750?

I bought my Notos from Natchez Shooting and Outdoor during their 4th of July sale for a great price delivered to my door.. They currently list it for $233.99. We are close to Labor Day so look for some sales there or other vendors.

    Break Barrel HW50S

I live at 7126ft in Colorado and can verify springers shoot slower at altitude. The lower air density means there is less air available per cubic foot of air. This means there is less air to compress when you cock a springer. I saw, on one of the forums years ago, a chart that an airgunner...

    Notos Testing My New Notos

The short answer is YES. Will it compete AAA EVOL Mini 22 - absolutely NO. It is a light carbine that is fun and fairly accurate at 10 to 50 yards with minimal investment. If that is in a person's wheel house then I can recommend it without hesitation.

    Whats your favorite HW ?

My first "adult" airgun was a Beeman R9 in .20 cal about 23 years ago. I then got a R7 in .20 and a HW50 in .177. I gave the the R7 to a friend that had a pest problem in her horse barn. Missed it so much I bought a HW30 in .177 to replace it. Still have the R9, HW50 and the HW30. The HW30...

    Notos Testing My New Notos

Tried JSB 14.35gr pellets today: Shot count: 20 Low: 768 Hi: 777 Avg: 774 Spread: 9 STD Dev: 3.2 They are as accurate as the H&Ns (didn’t adjust scope in horizontal axis). Three - 5 shot groups at 30 yards. Overall I’m happy with accuracy of the Notos (not so happy with my shooting ability)...

Umarex Notos CRK Air Rifle Review .22 Caliber

I agree the Leapers Scout scope needs getting use to. I bought mine for pistol use and I love it on my HW44. Tried it on my Notos (based on your review) but my old eyes needed more magnification at 30 yards and beyond for carbine testing and groups. It is back on my HW44 but my try it on the...

    Notos Testing My New Notos

AddictedtoPCP - I think you will enjoy your Notos! Yesterday I shot 3 ten shot string on a 250bar fill, to get a better idea where the Notos was falling off the regulator (see strings below). Looks like 22 shots are my sweet spot with H&N 14.66gr pellets. I haven’t tried adjusting the hammer...

    Notos Testing My New Notos

Took Notos apart today to look at the trigger. The tip of the grub screw that is adjustable externally needed to be ground down, rounded and polished where it meets the sear bar. It had sharp edges where it rubs against the sear bar and the sear bar had some scratches in it. I sanded and lightly...

    Notos Testing My New Notos

Took barrel assembly off the Notos because I was curious about all the talk about the moderator not being removable. Also, based on my bad experience with Snowpeak/Artemis barrels over the last few years, I wanted to look at the barrel machining. Upon visual inspection it looks like the...

    Notos Testing My New Notos

Yes, I am impressed with the Notos as an inexpensive short to mid-range carbine. As you know I have had the best carbine out there but this meets my current needs at a real good price! I enjoy your continued posts on your EVOL.

    Notos Testing My New Notos

Today shot 30+ pellets without chrony at 30 yards with UTG scout scope. About a 1 ½ inch group. I need a little more than x7 magnification with my old eyes. I replaced the UTG scope with a Hawke Airmax 30 SF Compact 4-16x44. This helped with target recognition and seeing pellet impact. The...

    Notos Testing My New Notos

Just got my Notos yesterday and ran some initial tests. Overall I am very impressed with the performance of a $230 PCP! I have pasted my log book details below: Received my Notos on July 8, 2023 from Natchez. Total cost, delivered was $230.58. Unboxed, cleaned barrel and mounted UTG 2-7X44...

PCP Airgun Modding / Building ?

Bob, I think I have read all of your articles on HAM and have enjoyed your posts on other forums. So, I hope there will be a section added here for modding, custom tuning, and custom-built projects. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to help folks but I do enjoy learning from others. Frank

    PCP HW 100 PCP

I have a HW100 carbine and love it. It isn't the latest tech or the most powerful/efficient PCP, but it is reliable, accurate and built to last right out of the box. The single shot tray is a work of art in comparison to any other single shot tray I have seen or used on other rifles. So much...

    Introductions Hello from Colorado

Hi, I live in Colorado and got into the airgun community as an adult about 25 years ago. Started with a co2 pistol. Moved to brake barrel (R9, R7, HW30 & HW50) but living at over 7000ft in altitude moved to bulk fill co2 for a while. From there into PCPs. My newest project is a S&W 78G that...
