That's an impressive accuracy gain with your powder coated experiment ammo! So, I shot the EscapeSS with the .20 barrel in it until the heat drove me inside. wind was 9-15 about 80-degree crosswind. Shot the 15gr JSB for the first time. They were okey but the 13gr JSB will keep them all in the red dot. I did not shoot them today. The 11gr H&N were awful, going way too fast. The 14 grain slugs fell out of the barrel and are unusable. The NSA 18 grain slugs were shooting a 3-inch group at 30 yards before powder coating them. After 2 coats of powder coat the best group was .590ctc at 30yd with 30fpe. So, it worked and I think I will try a 3rd coat just to see what happens. The 15gr pellets would do much better with some tunning but I was tunning more for the 18gr slugs. I guess now I will want to try the Zan 20gr. So now I have a .20, .22, and .25 barrels for this gun, guess I will have to get a .177 someday for it just because. This is still my favorite gun to play with, even more fun with a Condor tank on it.

Smart ideaNext time I will try to use a plastic shrimp deveining tool or a nylon Oring pick to seat the 14grain slugs into the barrel farther to engage the rifling without marring the barrel, so they don't fall back out and maybe I will get them to group.
Happy visit to Omaha, great time to visit the zoo!On the road, which is keeping momentum from trigger time. But... I reached out to Mike Tiehen of AGM/TKO, since I am back in Omaha for the first time in 30 years. Maybe I'll get a quick hey with him tomorrow, or I'll at least get memories for what I hope is not another 30 years. Shoot straight and stay safe all.
