Just found out why my compressor was only reaching about 2000 psi. My cheap air filter leaks.

Found the problem. The cheap blue Amazon filter was leaking. I couldn't hear it over the compressor noise I just happen to grab it to move it over and felt the air leaking. Removed the filter and pumps up fine. Now to find a better filter that I can afford .

I normally tear a gun almost completely apart checking everything, cleaning lubing. I just wanted to shoot this straight out of the box. However, I did clean the bore very well first.

Right now I'm getting 948 fps with 18.1gr JTS pellets but only 847 fps with 23gr H&N Slugs. I'd like to get those slugs to 900 fps. Is this doable without losing accuracy? And best way to achieve this? Thanks

Short range session. Shot a couple Pinty Knightfalls. One did well, the other not so much. Then broke out the Zelos .22 First time shooting these pellets a friend gave me. I am going to have to order more. This rifle makes me smile 😊 .

So I have a few knockoff Airforce rifles. The bolt has orings inside that slide over the barrel. Silicone oil is not a good lube for this. Put it on, work the bolt a couple times and the Silicone oil is doing nothing. Even getting it on my fingers, rub them together and it's gone. What else...
