To the administrators: This thread has veered away from the topic of my original post, that was my fault and I apologise for that. Due to things that I discovered with my Barra 1100z .177 inaccuracy, ( mainly psi and hammer spring adjustment) I'm going to do my test again. If I still have...
Sounds good as far as how to advertise. When you say cheap for thebarra regulator, how cheap. I bought a Lane brand regulator for the Diana Bandit pcp but it cost me $105. That was expensive for me. I will look into the barra regegulater.
The gun I'm referring to is my barra PCP1100z gen1 .177cal. which I've had about 2 years (I also have the same brand/model in .22 cal that shoots much better groups, not fantastic but much better. I've also had that for about 2 yrs) The .177 out of 24 different brands or types of pellets only 2...
I'm talking 6 pellets in a 1/2" group or worse at 10 yards. At 10 yards pellets should group 3/8" to 1/4" groups. At longer yardages, the group will be atrocious. I don't have access to longer than 10 yard range, my range is in my basement. I could go to a State Game Lands rifle rang and have...
Well, I've gotten 3 responses to my question, they all point to the same thing, be honest. So maybe list it for a 1/4 of what I payed for it new and mention that it was inaccurate for me and maybe include a couple tins of pellets.
I asked and you answered, I appreciate that. I need to ask you this based on your answer: how many air rifle/pistol for sale listings state the info you mention? I will say that I have not gone over air gun listings to see how they are listed.
Macungie or back in the day when they had 5 manufacturing buildings? I worked at the Mack prep centefor 8 years and the Mack/Transedge dealership for 27yrs.
I have what I think is a legitimate question. Say you have an air rifle. It is not accurate so you want to sell it. Do you advertise or tell a potential buyer that it is not accurate? What price do you put on it if you do let it be known about accuracy?
Thank yo for that explanation.. Before I saw that you had replied, I searched on YouTub how to clean the barrel and suspected that it was the air stripper that I was running into, but Thank you for your detailed explanation. Much appreciated.

I have a Barra 1100Z,gen1 in .177 and one in .22 for 2 years. Apparently I have not tried to clean the barrels or I would have asked this sooner. I have an aluminum rod from a cleaning kit, I put it in the muzzle end but about 5.5" down i hit a barrier and have to wiggle the rod in order to get...
I've had the compressor for almost 2 years now and am using to fill a Barra 1100z first gen. I generally shoot my air rifles during the colder winter months but decided to start early this year. I'm filling to about 2,500psi. Now for the problem. I shoot till the gauge is just inside of the...
After using the compressor for a couple years, I have only one small complaint. The automatic stop, I wish that the stop part of that arm was on the front side of the arm instead of the back side. If it was on the front, you could see exactly where you set it. The way it is now, the stop arm...
I had to reply to my own post. All is well. I decided to do exactly as the instructions stated to see what would happen. It worked flawlessly. I understand that all regulators need a breathing hole in order to work. On some applications you have to drill a breathing hole in the air chamber to...
