What did you buy/receive today?

got my chrony today, set it up and run tests on 6 pellets just getting used to using it
I will now be able to tune and tighten my groups
I am new to PCP but lifelong shooter, i quit shooting for years because the price of ammo
with airguns I am back having the fun I missed at a price that is affordable
I see all the high dollar guns and I dont think you could have more FUN than I am having with my avenger BP2
and my striker, they have me enjoying life, doing what I enjoy
You only get one shot, enjoy it And hit what you are aiming at

I ordered a single tin of JTS .25 43.06gr slugs to try in my U2 700. I've spent hundreds of dollars on slugs for this rifle so why not just 'one' more new slug to try?

From the photos, these slugs appear to be cast, not swaged. They look pretty bad in the photos but hey, sometimes we get surprised with stuff that works even though first impression isn't good???

What made me want to try them is the design. They have two drive belts around the diameter for contact with the bore's lands instead of the normal full contact over the length of the slug. We'll see if they do any better, or worse than the average slug from my Uragan 2.

My Taipan likes them fairly well, good luck 👍.

I received my Tuxing 360cc carbon fiber bottle today that will be going on a GEN3 Mrod. Nice looking flat grey bottle and just built 3 months ago, no nos stuff. This bottle weighs 20 ounces less than the stock one and is 4" shorter so it should look and feel pretty good on the gun. I'm getting stoked now, especially after finding out about the balanced valve and SSG the gun is coming with. I was going to get it anyway, but now it's looking even better.

Just received the 1866 tactical .177 co2 that I got from the monthly Barra giveaway. Now have to figure out how to get used to a co2 gun. Should be interesting.
Put a drop of air tool oil, or 'Crosman Pellgun Oil' on the top of each co2 cartridge every time you install one into the airgun. Keeps the internals lubricated and the seal that the cartridge pushes against.

Also, never leave a spent co2 cartridge tightened into the airgun. Will smash and ruin the seal prematurely.

Have fun!

Good advice. I learned that the hard way👍

Contacted PA to ask when I could expect my in stock back ordered Ascent. It is now released from an unexplained hold and being processed so that I can start testing.
That’s exactly what happened with my PA pre-ordered AV Bell Target. It eventually came in stock months after promised. I waited several days and it still hadn’t shipped. I started a support request and all of a sudden it shipped.

How do you like the bell?

As for pre-orders, I still don't have my previous pre-order, as it went back for "warranty work" almost 8 months ago. 😔

The bell target is actually substantially built. The bell sucks in that it is hard to hear over the whack of the pellets. The bell is just one of those cheap counter bells like you’d ring for service. My grandson and I used it with his Powerline 880 at 35 yards. He liked it so much he took it home with him.
