Condor Condor Slug Gun

Be among the first to shoot the all-new Condor with Threaded Slug Barrel in .22 and .25 caliber—built specifically for slug accuracy and power. At the 2025 Pyramid Air Cup. Now that's what I'm talking about.🥳
Whaaa where are you seeing that?! I have kicked the Condor .25 idea down the road quite a bit and the platform has more than enough power to send slugs with ease....do you know where they are getting the slug barrels from?

No, I got one of their news emails and just copied this from it. Most of it was about the Tex Rex and raw but included this one line about the Condor Slug Gun, so I guess there will be more to come.

We’re gearing up for one of the biggest airgun events of the year — the 2025 Pyramyd Air Cup, happening September 17–20, 2025 in Marengo, Ohio, and AirForce Airguns and Rapid Air Worx (RAW) will be there!

Come experience the best in airgunning: test-fire the new Condor with Slug Barrel, handle the Tex-Rex Carbine, and get hands-on with RAW’s elite lineup like the MicroHunter and HM1000X. Whether you’re there to compete or just soak in the action, stop by our booth for demos, insights, and exclusive event content.

Nice, will be keeping an eye out on this!
.....the TexRex is available in Canada now as of last week, not cheap but awesomeness usually isn't 😎.

Im pretty sure they have the Canadian equivalent of FAC in the UK. You just have to have a license to own one. I think over 500fps they qualify as a firearm.
Yup that is correct. I can buy a TexRex tomorrow if I wanted one, its considered a 'firearm' though here. I got my PAL 2 years ago to be able to legally buy guns and all I've bought to date is Airguns😆. I'd like a nice.357 lever gun someday but we'll see....that would take away from my airgun money though so it may never happen. Canada is less hassle than the UK thankfully to get a gun license, although they can shoot up to Sub-12fpe while we are stuck with Sub-500fps unlicensed.

But you don't have a limit on fpe do you?
I believe we can own up to a .50cal rifle/12g shotgun with a license. The Canadian >500 fps rule is wierd, its not energy related and makes less sense? You can literally buy a .25 pcp here that is tuned down to 495fps without a license....trajectory would be like lobing a football😂😭
In .177 its not bad at all inside 20 yards, have taken many sparrows and 2 rabbits with it.

Alrighty, I just saw it on the AF website! Only a " limited" supply available. They are using unchoked L.W. slug barrels, and hokey smokes that .22 is no joke (100ft lbs!) There are VERY few .22cal airguns that can make that kinda power....it look like a mini TexRex, and barrel is threaded. A slug gun without a magazine seems less than ideal as a hunting rig but would be sweet for longer range plinking and paper. Hopefully someone gets one and shares results!

So....as an AF aficionado.....are you getting one!? 😁
I like that they went all in on slugs with this one, i very much doubt pellets would shoot well without the choke, esp at that speed/power level. Soooo many companies try to utilize a 'best of both worlds' barrel than can shoot slugs and pellets well but usually isn't amazing at either. If i had a barrel in my Ghost that only shot slugs I be a happy airgunner!😎

No, I like my airguns to have a reedy to shoot weight of 6 pounds total. My Eagle Claw Carbine goes a bit over that and that's okey, it is special to me. If they ever come out with an 18-inch replacement barrel I will buy that and put it on my Escape UL.

If the slug barrel is just the normal one without the choke, someone with a lathe could easily cut off the choked part at the end and re crown. I unfortunately don’t own a lathe.

Reread all the info on the slug version on the AF website, and....it keeps getting better, lol. It has a 3650psi/250Bar tank installed instead of the standard 3000psi version!
As an unregulated gun, wouldn't that be a wild (bad) idea?! Filling to 250B and shooting it down to say 120B would give a wildly curvy shot string wouldn't it? Man someone needs to get one of these and review it for us😆

I would not be so sure about this. I have rebarreled a P15 with an unchoked LW .25, and my Barra 250z is an unchoked .22, and both shoot pellets well. It seems to me that barrels and pellets have gotten so much better that the old rule doesn't apply as much as it use to. I was shooting the .22 AEA 21.9gr pellets at 987fps too, and they were still shooting tight groups. I would get an occassional flyer, but that could have been on me. The unchoked LW barrel shoots the 34gr MkII's just as well as my choked Marauder, and choked LW TalonP barrel. A good barrel, is a good barrel.
