I noticed most all their scopes are geared more towards hunting being FFP. I'm mainly a precision paper target shooter and use SFP scopes. At full magnification does the cross hairs get thick?

.22 and .25 are very accurate but the .30 not so much. Easy to tune. Built extremely well and good support from the factory. Only complaint is it sets VERY high on the bench. A tube version would set much lower and would be welcomed by (this) bench shooter. I think the factory should bring back...

What caliber? What is your intended purpose?

AGT Vixen in .22. Search Airgun Retirees on YouTube.

#1, having a rifle that is 100% consistent, that you can depend and rely on to put the projectile where you want it, every time. #2, reading the wind and making the correct hold off, for 25 record shots.

I’ve been down this road buying and selling waaaaaaaay to many guns to find one that could be competitive with a Thomas, day in and day out and there are none. Sorry. The closest I came was a .22 RTI P1 with the LR barrel.

😂😂😂😂😂😂Nope … Not at 50Y

Bill, At the recent 100BR at PAC they subtracted 10 points for every hole that exceeded the 25 scoring bulls. https://www.pyramydaircup.com/competitions/benchrest/ Any shots over 25 in the target area will be a -10 penalty per additional shot on the total score.

That makes no sense that the shooter is not penalized for multiple shots within a single target?

No. Your 7 just became a 6. Let’s say you had 3 hits within a box. A 7, 5 and 10x. Your score for that box is the lowest impact score 5 - 1 =4

N50 scores 2 or more shots within a box by taking the score of the lowest impact hole minus one point. If the lowest was an 8 then it’s 8 minus 1 = 7.

Bill, If the Eley software is similar to what ARA is using it may not work accurately for pellets? The ARA scanner software picks up hits by looking for the back ring around the hole, that rimfire bullets leave behind. Have you considered adopting some simple rules like National 50 uses? It’s...

This was the third time I participated in the BR competition and I had a GREAT time. Tyler, Emily and crew put on a world class event and I thank them all for making my experience a positive one. I learn more everytime I shoot there and would encourage anyone, regardless of skill level, to...

I shot a RAW 30 in the finals and used 44 JSBs. I would have used AEA 50.5's but did not have enough time to bump my reg up and tune my gun for them.

Congrats. What brand is your bull barrel?

It could be because the Whisper Pro is a .30 and or because its on an unshrouded barrel??? However, we tested other 30’s that were quieter.

We had the privilege of reviewing and comparing a prototype moderator built by Heartland Airguns. We tested it against two other Heartland Airgun moderators, several DonnyFLs, a Rocker1, 2 Impulse Airs and an Air Thunder Ordinance Falx. We were blown away by how much quieter the prototype was...

Yes, both the male and female threads were sheared off. In the photo above, I’m pointing to the male threads that sheared off. There was no previous warnings or leaks to signal this failure.

I’ve been using an external Altaros regulator to tether my PCP bench rest rifles at the bench with zero issues. I set it at 160 bar and it’s remained constant for the last few years with zero leaking issues. A couple days ago, I connected it to my Thomas HPX and to my 90 minute SCBA bottle and...

With all due respect, I have an old Avenger .22 and the barrel was cut off, at the factory, with a CHOP SAW! There are semi circular scratches, from the saw, on the face of the muzzle. There is NO crown at all and the end of the barrel is not square to the OD or bore. This gun has won our indoor...
