Okay, this was a luck of the draw. Pigeon at 14 yards. Halo at approximately 917 from a pellet barrel. So, lucky shot. Hit too high. Slug expanded but not enough substance to prevent pass through. The hole is almost large enough to fit two fingers.

Well, though the FX rifles definitely hit the mark and I do want one, I would have to hold off for a bit due to the price tag. Hence my interest in the AirForce slug. However, all the discussion has given me info and not jump into a rifle setup that I would regret later.

I would use it for general purpose shooting with more power than my current Sniper XR. So, pests, coyotes and javelina, plinking / targets at further distances. Hopefully, join some competitions in the future.
