Chinese Stuff? Not In This Lifetime.

Exactly. They can and do make guns that will hold their own against more expensive brands and I can afford them. If you can afford better, I don't hate you. I'll just keep shooting what I can afford.

What'cha doing air gun related today?

They are some aggravating pests for sure. If you had a safe shooting lane you wouldn't have to worry about these mk3s passing through. They expand like crazy.

What'cha doing air gun related today?

Did a 30 yard sight in with my Bullshark and 10 gr Mk3 Knockouts. That's the distance from the back door of my garage to the pear tree the squirrels decimated last spring.

On Safari in Washington State for Giant Dairy Rats!

Drop you reg pressure to 1800 and install a weaker hammer spring. I'm getting over 60 shots at 30 fpe and I'm still running the cylinder. No telling how many shots you would get with a bottle. You could probably shoot for a week.

New York State Airgun Ban In The Works

Unfortunately, the ridiculous people are the ones forcing policy on the ones who just want to be left alone to enjoy life.

    Who invited you Mr. Rattlesnake?

I've been on the same property in middle Georgia for 31 years and I've only seen 2. The second one bit 2 of our dogs, thankfully both of them recovered. I might be wrong, but I don't let them crawl off if I spot one.

What'cha doing air gun related today?

Spent the evening sniping carpenter bees with my adult red ryder and daisy 35. Managed to get 9 out of who knows how many.

Pinty buster bought by accident...do I keep it or no???

    I'd keep it if it's a .177. 😉

The 177, what most of us started with.

I realized you were glad to see it again. No worries there. I think I know how it happened now. If you scroll down to the bottom of a thread, there is a Similar Threads area, and some of them date back awhile. I like the feature, so I'm definitely not complaining about it. I just need to pay...

The 177, what most of us started with.

And it looks like I'm the one that resurrected it. I don't know how I came across it in the first place, but I do know that I thought it a was current thread when I commented. I guess I need to be more observant. 🙂

The 177, what most of us started with.

I have a .177 Chaser carbine that I bottled and it's one of my favorite plinkers. Hundreds of shots per fill. It even shoots lightweight slugs well.

The 177, what most of us started with.

I'm estimating that I probably have 35 to 40 .177s. IF I could only keep on caliber, it would be .177.

Or slugs. That thing has the power for them. I really wish I had picked one up when they were cheap.

    What did you buy/receive today?

Well, I got my Ali Express order and bottled my Marauder pistol. The issue now is that it's a 7 pound beast. That happens when you do a search for carbon fiber .22l 4500 psi bottle and fail to careful read the description of the search result. I thought I found a great deal on a lightweight...

    PCP JET II Magazine Loading..

When I find a great deal on a .177 Jet 1, I'm going to pick one up and bottle it like my .25. These things are too much fun.

I usually leave mine empty. I have left one loaded for awhile and it still functions fine.

Twist against spring tension until the cover stops and load the first pellet skirt first into the single hole on the bottom of the mag. Then flip over and load the rest nose first through the clear cover. Mine is a .25 and it isn't pellet picky at all.

I've got a 3x Monstrum Stealth on my bottled Jet 1. I love it.
