Trying to decide between a .22 and a .177 for short range pesting around the house. No scope planning on using the open sights. My thoughts are either would work, but the .177 would shoot flatter and do less damage if I miss. Opinions wanted.
As always I am late to the party. I was lucky to get one of the last Akelas in .22. I would have bought a .177 if they were still available. Wish I could find one still. Same thing with the P-Pup. Late as usual.
I am waiting for a Vector Veyron 10x44 to arrive before I can shoot it. It will be...

I was leaning toward a .177 but have read several places that they are not as accurate as the .22. It does not really matter, but how quiet is the standard? Say compared to a .22 Marauder.
I am seriously considering an Arrow. I have a bird nest problem on my house. The Classic looks so much better, but it is more powerful. I think my Marauder and Akela, both .22 are a little too powerful. That and I don;t have a scope for the Akela yet.
If I get an Arrow, which one would be...
Thinking of getting one for my .22 Akela while I decide which FFP variable scope to ultimately get. They are on sale for a few more hours.
Opinions wanted.
Just joined today. I have a Marauder that I bought about 11 years ago and never used. Life got in the way. Bought a compressor a couple weeks ago and have an Akela being delivered later today.
I have a NIB Integrity scope for the Marauder and will be looking for advice for my first FFP scope...
