I have not used a peep sight in 30 years, but I am strongly considering getting one for my Gamo Arrow. I think it will work better than the stock open sights for my older eyes.

After you test the Akela, let us know which of the three you would pick if you could only have one. I have an Akela and was considering getting an Elf, but have decided not to. I am still looking at the P Pup. The light weight, forward cocking lever, regulator, and low noise level are very tempting.

Now that you have tested the Elf, which is your favorite? Or do you still need to test the P Pup?

The local weather guesser says starting Friday we will have a dry spell. Hopefully you will also.

After only four magazines I am loving it. Very quiet, not that it matters as I live outside the city limits, but I like quiet. It will probably do a great job on pests around the house. I really want a Williams peep site for it and am researching them now.

I am sure you will get to it shortly. I managed to do a little testing with the Gamo Arrow, between storms and rain showers.

Gamo Arrow arrived today. I think it will be perfect for short range pest control around the house.

Good idea to contact the seller. For pellets, will probably start with Crosman Premier Hollow Points as that is what I have on hand.

Here are a couple pictures of my Akela with a refinishd stock. It has a few coats of Birchwood Casey sealer and about ten coats of Tru Oil. It might be done, or I might wet sand it in a couple weeks and give it one more coat. Vector Veyron 10X44 scope. This is the most expensive scope I have...

Who is Red Corn?

I really miss the Williams peep site on the Sheridan that was stolen. I wonder if it is feasible to put one on the Arrow?

I will keep an eye out for them.
