Just picked up my Sniper XR from AoA with power tune and 580 cc bottle upgrade. Looks strange after shooting it with the 300 cc for so long, but no complaints here.

I hope it works well for your wants. The power (that is claimed) and the updates over the original have me intrigued. Looking forward to your real world / real person review.

I have the .22 Sahara Performance with 300 cc bottle. My first ever PCP air rifle. I am with you on the sentiment. It is a great rifle.

AoA has open box pellets and slugs on the counter. Got some JSB Hades .22. (which I have gotten very good results in my Sniper XR) for approximately $0.03 a round.

Headed to AoA. Thinking if I should get the power tune done on the Sniper XR.

Dang Tony! Where are you at in AZ? I have been here 27 years and have never encountered one. Just jinxed myself.

Had the same experience with self healing targets with .22 pellets. Think it is / was a matter of not enough power to penetrate the target. Pellets just bounce off and sometimes come right back at point of origin.

Regardless of the opinion on FX, you got what you wanted. Congratulations and I hope you kill with it (hunting and competition). Always wanted a King with the GRS stock. This one in that chassis is sweet! Congrats, again! Happy shooting and looking forward to your reports.

@Solo1 beat me to it. Airguns of Arizona. If you ever visit the Phoenix metro area, Mesa specifically, go there. Highly recommended.

Really like going in to check things out and ask questions. Real friendly and informative and patient with this newb. I am constantly finding an excuse to make the drive. My wallet wishes I wouldn’t, however. Stupid wallet.
