Unless you’re hunting them at less than 100y don’t go less than .30 cal… and for the love of god don’t waste your money on a Daystate or a BRK.. you want a slug shooter for this job not a pellet shooter. Get one of those and you’re gonna spend $2k for a pretty gun that won’t get the job done...
So the 350z is actually a licensed version of the Max 2 bottle version.
Barra did make some changes when licensing the 250z so I doubt it’ll be exactly the same.
I made a little video explaining the CF shroud mod on my EQ a little better and to let people know they can get a mod kit from Heartland Air do the stock length barrel. So you don’t have to do the whole swap to have a better shroud/tensioner…. Pretty sure he makes them for the Zelos too.
I like to pull my car up on a dirt road.. I have a chrono that clamps on… so I run out a target real quick, warm up in the car and then window down *pew pew*
Ultimately that’s the point of shooting slugs out of these guns. It can be tricky to find the right setup but when you get it right it works amazing.
In this power range shooting a lighter weight slug kinda fast works amazing. To me it feels like I always wished shooting a 22LR felt. Easy...
OH HELL YEAH! Great shot bro! Few things in this sport are more satisfying than the sound of a slug going 4th of July on a dove.
Really happy to see how much fun and success you’re having with the barra.
Haha I how does it feel to get that first 100 yarder? My first was a squirrel and I was...
Okay so Barra is coming out with a whole new line…
For the guys who wanted a wood stock the 270z looks like exactly what you want.
300z and 350z are gonna be completely different.. the 350z has a CF bottle.
Don’t worry lads I’ll be more than happy to bite the bullet and slug tune the 9mm as soon as it comes out 😂😂😂.
I loved my 250z and it’s the gun that truly opened up the pcp world for me. I learned how to tune on that gun. Learned how to modify and developed a love of hunting that I never had...
I disagree with you… I really think it’s just because their .22 cal barrels were trash.. but the results I and others have achieved in .25cal have absolutely been shown to be repeatable for most… but for my part nothing I did with my barra was possible without your input and reporting from your...
It can seem like a pain in the butt but I promise it’s worth it. For me ultimately it gives me confidence to make longer shots because I know the slug will fly as intended and once you know your “real” BC you can calculate how much power you’re actually carrying.
Plus it’s just fun to flex...
