I silicone oiled up the 761XL, it pumps up and holds pressure for hours, but I'll test it overnight and see if it leaks. I don’t think the original owner even shot this gun because everything is still really tight with little signs of wear. It even came with a period correct full metal 4x15...
If Pinty reduces the trigger pull down to 2-4 lbs I will be very impressed. I believe they told JC of Airgun Detectives that fix was coming too. He loved the Nightfall except for the trigger. Is your source usually spot on?
Scored the cleanest most mint Crosman 761XL I've ever seen, and in very good shape a Crosman 2100 Classic, with the white scrolling on the receiver, at auction a few weeks ago, for a fantastic low price! They both just arrived today. It was a combination bid lot. The online photos did not do...
Did Pinty fix the trigger on their Nightfall, Air Force clone, yet? I remember people mentioning the 8 to 10 pound trigger pull. Other than that it seems like a nice rifle? Pinty is taking pre-orders on it per the email I received today.
I really enjoyed shooting my Pinty Buster. Regardless of the budget PCP Pistol category it punches way above its weight. It's been sold out since Christmas for many good reasons.
Over the years I've accumulated thousands of old pellets from the 50's through the 90's in that dusty condition. I just soak them in spray silicone oil after removing as much foreign debris as possible. Usually the pellet tins are just dried out so oiling them does the trick.
Finally dialing in my Pinty Buster .22 PCP Pistol. It's such a nicely made airgun. I still marvel in it's construction and style. My first time shooting it, but if it's anything like the Striker it's gonna be epic.
Very nice addition to the Sig replica lineup! I like that it accepts the same red dot as the M17 which in my opinion changes the accuracy of these pistols significantly.
The Pinty Buster is a great PCP Pistol. I absolutely love mine. That said Pinty is having growing pains and communicating with customer service located in China has its challenges. My advice is to keep emailing your customer service contact and they will strive to make things right. Pinty wants...
Thank you, much better. When you believe in yourself and stand up for what's right, rational people will usually acknowledge their mistake and try to correct the situation. Pinty did that and I appreciate it.
Good news Papa! I guess my persistence and truthful emails motivated Pinty to follow through with excellent customer service, which included a $30 refund off my Striker and a 25% off coupon that I used to purchase the Pinty Buster in .22 cal. Both the Striker and Buster are very well made...
Exactly what I've shared about their substandard customer service and what others have shared don't you understand? Seriously if they had one ounce of integrity concerning customer service I would be the first to sing their praises. My other point you apparently fail to acknowledge is that...
