Hi Carl, None of the lubes that I tried could best straight from the tin AEA's. I did have some success with Beeswax on the JSB pellets but the JSB seem to not perform as well as the AEA's do especially in the wind. I don't have a crono that measures BC but I have a hunch that the BC on the AEAs...
I spent some time testing today using my RAW .30 HM 1000X LRT @100Y. I was testing JSB 44, FX 44 and AEA 45 pellets with and without lube. I was also testing an Impulse Air moderator. It’s an interesting design that allows you to remove or add sections to increase or decrease the OAL. This in...
I emailed them to bring it to their attention. Someone might be napping in QC or the advertising folks weren’t paying attention but none the less this is a disturbing representation of their product.
I grabbed this photo from Olympia Shot’s website. Any serious shooter might hesitate buying pellets that had this dross visible inside of a skirt, featured in an add. At least I would.
If you are a vet Sightron gives nice discounts. Look at the SII 36x scope for BR.
Can you see 22 holes at 100? I can’t, even with a 50x scope. Because that may influence your caliber choice.
Centercut has a download on AGN that I use. Print 6 bulls on 8-1/2 x 11 card stock. 1 Sighter and 5 scoring bulls then shoot one bull at a time transition to the next bull and repeat 5x.
Thank you. Yes, 50’ is close but it’s what we have available at our club. It’s trigger time and lead therapy for us during the long, cold winter months. We call it “fun shoots”.
An Avenger took 1st place at our last indoor bench rest match beating all other $$$ airguns and tying the high score in the $$$ .22 Rimfire class too.truly amazing for a $300 BB gun 😆
@zx10wall , I believe you had your hands on a .25 also? How would you compare their 100Y accuracies? Did one have any advantage over the other?
How does your .22 shoot the MRDs?
Has anyone tried the JSB 34 grain Jumbo’s in their RAW .22? I picked up a used chassis a couple weeks ago but it’s too darn cold to shoot outside. I have a 10M indoor range in my shop to plink so I tried the 34’s on a whim and I was surprised how well they shot.
