I tapped watch in YouTube and tried to watch the video but it’s in some foreign language??? WTH? It plays in English if watched from here but not from YouTube?
Thanks for the detailed reply Tristan. I think I read somewhere that the Snipe 2 uses a balanced valve. Can you give some explanation of what exactly that is? It also says there is no hammer adjustment. Is this similar to the pneumatic hammer that the RTI Mora uses?
@AtlasAirguns , What barrel is on the Snipe 2 in the Triple-G video? It looks like it’s fluted. I don’t see that barrel on the ones on Atlas Airguns website. Nor do I see that bottom rail? It’s pretty disappointing seeing a gun in a video that seems to be a one-off unobtanium model? Oh well...
Great write up @hameditor. I have to say as a shooter, I was impressed with this technology. I can see the usefulness for us senior shooters who have failing vision or scopes that are not powerful enough to see projectile impact points. Honestly I did not have the time to use the system while I...
Thanks @Solo1 . I shot PAC two years ago for the first time and qualified with a Ghost .30 but finished mid pack. This was only my second big 100Y match. My goal this year was to qualify for the final again but it wasn’t meant to be. I can’t blame the wind because it was the mildest conditions...
I’m not a slug shooter so no, I don’t have any data. I shot one of my RAW .30’s at PAC. I missed getting into the finals by 2 points but that was my fault for making some bad wind calls. As far as tuning it’s very close to the factory tune. I’m shooting AEA 50’s in one of mine and AEA 45’s are...
I’ve never been out west to any matches but I can recommend PAC as a very friendly atmosphere to shoot in and spectate. I even met our friendly Ham Editor Stephen yesterday. What an approachable and friendly chap he is.
The 455’s and 457’s are ammo picky in my experience. I had a 452 Brno and like you say it wasn’t as ammo picky. However, my statements are in regards to ARA and N50 match shooting which is more precise than minute of squirrel.
That custom field target rifle sounds interesting. I owned a Challenger and it was the most accurate 10M rifle I’ve ever owned or shot. I just wished it had more power on tap for outdoor shooting. Sounds like you conquered that?
I hear you Luis. I am a CZ (PB) pistol fan-boy. Had several .22LRs but those have moved on and replaced with Bergara B14Rs, which are a LOT less ammo picky than the CZs.
