Crosman needs to update the P-rod. I love the accuracy and the trigger, but it desperately needs a refresh.

All 7 of my .177 SPA guns shoot 10.03 Knockouts well. My Bullshark spits them out at close to 1000 fps and it will do moa at 100. The sound of those little bombs hitting a pest is addictive.

I really like the Spanish made Daisy hollow points. They aren't one hole accurate but they great for pests because they expand like crazy.

I can only reach 100 if I shoot across my property from one end to the other, so I have to haul everything to the bench and set up for it. There is a nice hump in the middle, so I have to hang my targets about 7 feet up to see them from the bench. That makes it more difficult to change them out...

I'm blessed to have just over 100 yards that I can safely shoot on my property. I do enjoy the challenge of shooting that far, but it's a lot more work setting up for it and waiting for a day that the wind cooperates. It's much more pleasant to just sit and shoot 10 to 50 yards off the back porch.

My 1:19 .177 Stoeger Bullshark loves 10.03 slugs at 1000 fps and 13.43s at 900.

I like mine because it's short, lightweight and makes plenty of power, but it buzzes like a bee on acid during the firing cycle.

I wouldn't worry. They'll hit the classifieds before long. I doubt they'll hold their value for long.

Back in the 1970s I found an old Daisy buried in the mud on a canal bank. My dad cleaned it up and made a stock for it. I've been hooked ever since.

The Hill I have requires less effort than any other pump I've ever owned.

I've been hand pumping for over 20 years. I've owned several pumps and my latest is an Air Venturi Hill mk4 or 5. I can never remember. I've been using it for the last 4 years and I've only replaced one o-ring. Like you, I do it for the exercise and my reward is shooting. That works for me.

That's still pretty impressive for a pumper.

I'm an electronics technician, too. I prefer my guns to be simple because I spend enough time looking at schematics at work. I'll keep my batteries in my flashlights.
