I use an old pillow when dry firing at home. In my backyard (my personal permission) many, many critters get a past. So they continue doing their thing and not are bothered while I’m plinking away… I will be trying the tip above as originally suggested by @ARW …🙏

Why not a PCP you setup at the range then go sit in the air conditioned clubhouse. Take out your tablet and simply watch the PCP send when it senses optimal conditions? You only have to walk out to insert a new magazine…🙈 I like holding my carbines and looking through the scope.

Same here, though I own a Ghost Carbine. My sweet little Pathfinder is my main pesting machine. Small, light and deadly to 60+ yards.

Have to agree on the Sniper XR series. Every iteration has been stellar my Pathfinder is but a mini Sniper XR. My first a Bantam Sniper HR sold me on the platform they are solid out the box.

The CPHPs have been very very good in my lower power BRKs. They have killed many many pests out to 60+ yards. And I have shot some really great groups at 25, 30 and 40 yards. Soapy water at the reg vent hole “circle in yellow” showed the leak. Which I still haven’t fixed, just haven’t the time at the moment. I just keep it aired up and refill as needed.
