250Z LW Barrels from Barra

Did the re-tune take much time or did some of the stock barrel tune info make it easier/faster? Much of a change?

Homie, the change, is less shot count, for one. Let's start there,end there. The barrel takes more volume out of the air 's space.

Second change, is you have to re slug your barrel. My factory barrel was a 2505 slug all day long stacking at 70.

The lw, after clean/polish is 2502(i run 2500). I have noted much tighter grouping at 87 yards(its my nearest reference without specific set up.) And i will say, I dont have much wind here, so honestly, budget wise, me taking 70-80 yard shots, I know i can get closer. So the factory in .250, no problems.

Ive done 100+ on factory. That said, on papers, the groups are much tighter with the l.w barrel. Ive opened up the thimble and valve and repolished them, for both set ups, id say, slugs, at 120+, the l.w. has great merrit if you put in the trigger time and do your work. Slugs sub 100y, do your work, and familiarize yourself with the z. Ironically, it gets much better the more you break it in, and you learn to shoot it better the same.
