I was just asking about the inside diameter of the barrel and if the .217” or the .2175” would be the better fit for the Avenge-X.

Was looking at the H&N Baracuda Match .22, 21.14 gr. pellets. You have a choice of 5.51mm (.217”) or 5.52mm (.2175”). Which would be correct for the Air Venturi Avenge-X?

I would be interested in your test results. Thinking of doing the same.

I’m thinking you managed to get a lemon. It happens. Took mine out of the box, cleaned it, adjusted the trigger and mounted scope. This is a 10 shot group at 20 yards off a bag rest. Averaging around 874 fps (Garmin Xero Chronograph) with 14.3 grain hollow points. I can’t wait to start tinkering...

Maybe swap out your optic just to eliminate a problem there? Do you have any Chronograph data from the Barra?

There is really not a choice. The early versions had a shorter barrel, 19.5 inches I believe, and the newer guns barrel is 3” longer, taking up the “extra“ space in the shroud.

Curious to know if you have the short barrel or the long that is on current builds?
