My Airgun Background - Back in the 70s, I honed my shooting on soda cans, lizards, beetles, and the occasional gopher with a Red Ryder BB gun in the hills of Thousand Oaks, California. Then came a Daisy Powerline 880; both of which I left behind when to join the USAF back in '85. Decades passed before I picked up a Daisy 880 again, then another 880, then a Crosman 760 my wife found at an estate sale. That nostalgia collided headlong with today’s modern airgun tech. The evolution was staggering. I was hooked. Being a nerd by nature, that meant getting into the science and "attempts" for predictability. There is no shortage of "everything you ever wanted to know about airgun" videos out there. However, what I felt was missing were easy to follow guides on using airguns as tools of a trade, wildlife damage management of invasive, nuisance animals such as rodents, rabbits, coyotes and feral hogs. I like the small targets, so my focus is on ethical and humane (not overkill, attempt at single shot dispatch) using airguns - multi-pump and PCP.

I started Night Plinkers out of the need for something different. A field-capable, legally defensible, publicly documented, and humane solution for pest control in sensitive environments. Night Plinkers LLC is now a Texas business. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) written for the backyard plinker or the pest management professional.

Currently, I’m enjoying “modernizing” airgun user guides for manufacturers and importers and offer some specialty products and branded merch. I write articles for Airgun Hobbyist Magazine covering various topics, most recently covering SHOT 2026.
