I’ve been an “economical” break barreller for about 40 yrs now. My scopes have always been less than $100 to stay within my comfort zone. It’s just what I do👍

Beautiful day here. Broke out my old friend Crosman Nitro Venom .22. Had fun on my home range pli king at my "birds". I used my swing target to get zero on my different weights. 14.3 CPHP and 17.5 Vortex Strikes. Stay well all, the warm days are fading soon.👍😉

I sure agree with you. If it wasn’t for my wife wanting to live in the country 44 years ago I’d have never had the inspiration to do air gunning. It’s provided me with a wonderful hobby and I love my little home range. My special “go to” place. 👍

I’ve read the scope caps should be tightened to 18-20 inch pounds to avoid damage. How does one estimate how snug that should be without an in pound torque device. I use a T handle Allen wrench on most of my scopes. I just wonder if I have inadvertently damaged any scopes, I don’t gorilla...
