Use a tiny amount of grinding compound in the scope grooves of the receiver .. Then mount you scope rings on top of the compound..

Just balancing with the hammer spring and pressure.. The external reg is inline between the tank and the rifle..I usually set it about 80% of the rifles max pressure.. Most run the best around there,,

Oh It can be lower, in the single digit.. I have a external regulator, so I tune to the most power and the find a slug it like and lower it with the hammer spring from there to find the tightest group...

That looks like they were that way before they were packed ! email them and they should make it right...
