Do you think maybe your CS4 vibrates more than others or at a different frequency that allows it to work? I should order another and try it again as they are an inexpensive mass produced item that i just might have got a lemon. The wierd thing is I have that same stick on timer on my CS4 and also on a CS2 and they both have worked flawlesly for a few years
That gun hasn't been in production long enough for orings to be falling apart like that. Does Wayne Reid hangout on these forums? I'd like to hear what his thoughts were on what he thought went on with the gun before. Just bad orings, or a new guy didn't use any silicone when original assembly was done, something like that. Seems weird.Got up and there was a long box on the porch. My Avenge X tactical 25 caliber just got back from being totally rebuilt by Wayne Reid at Alien Airguns. Full teardown and reseal as it was out of warranty from Pyramid Air as i bought it as a refurb which only have a 30 day warranty. I won't buy a refurbished product again as the rifle looked like new on the outside but the orings had turned to flat crispy breakable junk. He said this was the worst rifle he had ever seen internally. So big shout out to Wayne for doing a great job rebuilding! I got the scope remounted and bipod and am ready to sight it in again but it's 94 degrees already and it's only a little after noon. I'll do it this evening when it's closer to sunset!
I love my Garmin. Though I’m tempted by the FX True Ballistic.I've been dragging it when it comes to setting up the Barra 250 BC I dreaded assembling the Caldwell C2 and all that goes with it. If have one, maybe you understand. I can't defend spending the $ for this Garmin other than I've always wanted a 'side-kick' chrono and when I learned that I could buy it in four installments on Amazon, it was all over for me. Kind of running out of excuses now. Funny BC they can ship this over night, but it takes four days to get a hat
.
Know what you mean. This had great reviews and it sits charging on my desktop. More to come.I love my Garmin. Though I’m tempted by the FX True Ballistic.
I do wish it was brighter. I don’t think mine has ever missed a shot. It’s a great purchase.Know what you mean. This had great reviews and it sits charging on my desktop. More to come.
That's encouraging. I remember the line from Jurassic Park where the guy in the Jeep says, " if those are heavy to the kids, then they are expensive". It does bother me to spend so much jack for something that only weighs like eleven ouncesI do wish it was brighter. I don’t think mine has ever missed a shot. It’s a great purchase.
lol, yeah it feels like an empty box. If you use the app, leave your unit on for a few minutes when you’ve finished shooting so that it updates through the cloud. Mine doesn’t always update to my devices when I do a forced update, but always does when I let it do it by itself. That's encouraging. Click on the avatar of the person that you want to follow, then click followHey Billm, I see a lot of the same names responding, how do I follow you guys?
It’s dropped in the last hour or two lol. But, it’s hot. We haven’t had rain in about two weeks. I’d swap it for the Northern California climate. I lived in silicon valley years ago and we loved the climate.Any humidity in the panhandle today? LOL.
I think it might be placement on the case I did have to change the sensitivity on the cs4Do you think maybe your CS4 vibrates more than others or at a different frequency that allows it to work? I tried to repair a few of the orings i could get too easily especially where the bottle hooks up to the block and studs that hold it in place. There is three orings on the one stud in there that takes the blunt of the 4350 psi bottle pressure and they were all crispy, flat, and just desintigrated. I changed those and it still didn't fix the rifle as the whole gun was like that. That's when i sent it to Wayne. He thought the orings used by the builders were too low of a durometer rating and not of acceptable quality and had never seen a guns orings in worse condition. He replaced all with high quality orings lubed properly and tested for 24 hours and no leaks were found. He sent me many pictures of the tear down and repair of the rifle. Even the regulators orings were in the same horrible condition. Do you guys think an improper air source without proper filtration could have caused this condition? Besides Mike I'm also the lemon guy on here and i tried to save a hundred dollars getting a refurbished Avenge X and see what it got me? A lot of trouble and as i said before i wont be doing that again! That gun hasn't been in production long enough for orings to be falling apart like that. Does Wayne Reid hangout on these forums?
