Hi, I recently joined this great forum and have just purchased another Daystate rifle to compliment my 30+ year old Huntsman FTR. I've only been out with the new rifle once to get the scope set up and shoot some groups. My new rifle is a Daystate Genus, and is one of only two hundred made for the 40th anniversary. Took me while to find a dealer with one still sat in the store room and I didn't think I would ever find one which was unused as I missed out when I first wanted to buy due to a long period of illness.
My old huntsman has served me extremely well and shoots as straight as it ever did, hence I wanted to own another Daystate. The new rifle has some great modern features while it preserves much of the character I have enjoyed with my old rifle. Once I have become more familiar with it and have put a few thousand pellets through the barrel I'll post a more detailed review of the Genus. So far, I am extremely happy with it and very pleased that I managed to find one.
