so what do you guy like in te why of slings and just how do you sling your gun as in the;
point ( location )
type of conection
and please show me post some pics

Well I'll tell you what sling studs NOT to use. Bought these years ago from a gun show. Beat up my stock badly on my beautiful Slavia gun over the years. Got the regular thread in ones now. One end is wood screw other end is machine screw with a nut. I liked to sling that gun around as a kid. I also will sling it around my elbow as a brace and shoot with it. It helps tension up your hold. I think our boy Steven Archer has mentioned he uses slings for this purpose as well. I have found it helpful.

I am going to be experimenting with the Gamo "no-swivel" slings for some of my airguns. Otherwise I use company marked slings since they usually have the necessary attachments.
The no swivels / slip on universal fit like the Gamo is something to look at if your not really wanting to drill holes in I fine stock .. some feel drilling / adding swivels takes away from the gun..

Yes I am hesitant to drill the stock on my S510 that's for sure! So nice of a gun. The sporter version comes with sling studs installed...a concealed front rail to easy install and remove the stud. Nice feature if u want to remove the studs/sling from time to time.

i want to sling my EVOL but getting it to hang like i want and finding a sling i like and diferant attechment points and it seems simple tie a rope around it but?
i beed the rope to keep my pants up so sling it is.
i did get a magpul and added a picatinny rail QD Sling Adaptor but if i put it on the bottom it flips the gun upside down and if i put it on top the sling ride on the scope.
i also got a QD Sling Adaptor m-lock for the wifes BRK concept but the slot on the side are not m-lock just there to look pretty i guess?

Though I sold my Wildcat that I had, I used a Magpul MAG502 Rail Sling Attachment (RSA). I placed it as close to the balance point using a single point sling. Did similar with my Crowns.

One thing I think is stupid on typical single point slings is they have a strong bungee sewed into the inside of the tubular webbing. Typically it’s so strong you would need to hang two concrete blocks from them to give some suspension bounce, if that’s the intended design. I unstitch the bungee and with a hot exacto blade, make a thin slot to remove the bungee.
My hook on the single point has a elastic sleeve that pulls down over the clip that hooks onto the RSA so the scope doesn’t get scratced, but because the RSA hangs off to the side a bit the gun leans away so the scope actually clears the elastic sleeve.

This season I’m switching to using my AAA Paradigm. It came with a sling anchor on the rear of the stock and will buy a sling attachment that utilizes the flush rail up front.

I prefer a single point because I pretty much always have a daypack on my back so it keeps my rifle on my front side. Shoulder slings work but I like ones that are sticky, or resist sliding off the shoulder. With a single point sling there is NEVER any worry of the rifle sliding off and hitting the ground.

I have even brushed on a layer of Aquaseal on a sling to make it “sticky” so it won’t slide down my shoulder easily.

Yeah some of the tactical shorter guns, slings aren't easy to use in practice. They have rails you can fit the studs easily enough but some don't sling well! Definitely easier with the traditional wood stocked guns. You want to sling the evol mini or....?

My Evol at this time is for plinking but it would readily accept the Magpul RSA.

Oh yeah lol you didn’t post this original question. Least stressful setup is a rifle with studs already installed.
Or like hw that has the factory swivels on that hw35 ( I think) , but can be used on other break barrel models as well if needed to kinda stay factory ..🙄

I kinda figured them pcp like that evil is a assault looking tackakool gun so I'd look at slings for a AR-15, ak47 or mp5 . Traditional may not "fit" right 🥴

okay this is what i have on my .22 now but i feel like i dont like it so close to the scope, probably fine though.
i was thinking they could be attached to the stock but then it ethier hanging to low or chokingly tight?
if i put the QD adapter on the bottom rail the gun wants to flip out so i am still searching for a better set upIMG_0893.JPG
