Red or Blue Anodized Talon Ss?

Any thoughts on using a red or blue anodized talon Ss in the field to give it a more toy ish appearance so people don’t think I’m hunting with an evil gun?

Why? If you’re hunting legally it shouldn’t matter. I would be more concerned with a grown man traipsing about in the wood; with what appears to be a toy gun. Guns aren’t evil or good, those are human traits…

@PasadenaMike Nah, not many thoughts on it other than I'd prefer wood or jet black on a hunting rig unless it's camo dipped. Funky colored guns and stocks in the woods don't sit right with me. I don't like them period. Which do you prefer? You're the one that has to hunt with it. As long as the warden and law enforcement are good with it and you're a licensed and responsible hunter, to hell with what people think about your hunting rig. It's not like you're going squirrel hunting with a Barrett.

For hunting, black, brown, camo, white (if hunting in the Arctic), no Rainbow Bright colours…

@PasadenaMike No worries. I wouldn't sweat the color. At least not unless they are selling these colors at a discount. I think that a rifle with those colors might draw more attention to it because it might look "pretty" to some folks. They may be inquisitive about it or apprehensive about approaching you if you're seen with it.
