Hello guys and gals,
I have a HM100X chassis rifle in .22cal and I went to get it off the wall and it read 0 bar barely any air in the bottle.
So I decide to try and put air in it and it immediately started to leak around the regulator and out of the barrel area.
I then grab the small bag of 0- rings that came with the rifle and proceed to change them out. I cleaned everything
pretty good using ballistol and some Q-tips got all the o- rings replaced, assembled all the parts re-checked them to insure
they were installed correctly, Installed the bottle and it still leaks just the same. I did not pull the brass piece out of the block
but think I should have but I don't have the O-rings to replace they don't come in the package of O-rings that come with the gun.
Also I DID NOT take the regulator apart. I do believe the regulator is what is leaking.
Anyone have any experience with this rifle and resealing the regulator ? Or have a schematic for it ?

Thanks, Shane

Shane,
One of the good things about Raw’s is the Simplicity. Since it’s already empty ( always double check) remove bottle then unscrew the reg? Precisely measure the stack height and record, that’s your pressure setting. Disassemble the reg, pretty straight forward. Once you find the culprit you can get replacements from Airguns USA ( Martin Rutherford) or from an oring supplier like the Oring Store. Clean, lube and reassemble. Make sure not to pick the o rings out with anything Metal the pinch method is best with perhaps help from a wooden or plastic toothpick. I’d highly recommend talking to Martin at Airguns USA great guy, he can get you any parts you need as well as do the repair if necessary.

Good Luck

I did manage to take the rifle down to a empty block, once I was told how to get the reg apart I replaced the little clear O-ring and the bigger one above it. when I went to remove the bigger of the 2 it broke with little to no force.
Also there was not one of these in the kit that came with the rifle so I used a spare from my FX parts box. I then put the rifle back together and attached the bottle and around the gauge and fill port it was leaking so I moved it around and it stopped and started to fill the bottle. When it hit 150bar I stopped and let it stabilize and check for leaks.
After work I checked it and it was still at 150ish close enough to it to know its not leaking. I then topped it off to 230bar and its still there. So thanks and I will check out Airguns USA !

👍 Martin is the original Owner of RAW and just a great individual to talk to. He also has forgotten more about these guns, than most will ever know!

Thanks for the info I will be reaching out to him. This is one of my "sure shot" air rifles and a pleasure to shoot !
I have not shot it yet since its super cold out here but soon as it breaks I will be out testing.
