I have seen a few members mention these Norma pellets a few times, but I always passed them by. Seeing that 4.99 A tin price, honestly, I didn't think to much of them, especially after seeing complaints mostly amounting to,"they dirty or nasty". Did see recently someone said how accurate they were, so thought I would give them a try. I ordered from pyramyd, buy 3 get 1. This morning, I set my target up at 30 yards just to plink. Even my pear trees being full isn't drawing in the tree rats this year, and I gotta shoot something. So paper it is. Anyway. I broke out the Norma's, my P-Pup, P-tactical, P-rifle, and my regulated Beeman Commodore. Good Lord! These pellets are awsome! Talk about under rated. One all 4 rifles, I did have to lower elevation about an inch, but these rifles stacked these pellets. They all loved them. No fliers, nothing. Granted, I only shot 30 yards, but still, that's well inside trash panda and tree rat range more often than not!
I can't believe that these Norma's aren't the budget pellet to beat. CPHP don't even hold a candle to them. Especially now. I have definitely found my new .22 plinking and posting pellet.

Jim , I'm with you on these pellets ! This morning I set up a box target @45yrds, the distance I was about to shoot(hopefully) HOSPs. I had the BSA R TEN & was shooting Apolo Hunter 18.5gr normally. So after confirming the Apolos were good to go , I thought about just plinking w/Norma 17.6grs. The 5 shot group (shooting out of the window on a shooting bag ) was about 3" to the left of the Apolos, but was nickel sized ! Most of my guns like them also.

I went back and read the HAM review after Steve mentioned it on my post...Had never seen it. It was couple years before I joined. According to article, at what, 47 yards and out it retains 57% of energy outta the 17ft.pound energy rifle it was tested with? Something like that. Shooting 30ftpnd + energy rifles leave a crapload of punch at 30 to 40 yards. These are some sweet pellets. Especially if your rifle likes heavier pellets, and a lot of the upper power guns just don't like the CPHP's.

When they first came out you could get the 4 pack, 850 pellets, for $9.99. I bought 4, wish I had bought 20.

Not quite as good as Baracuda Match but for under 50 yards they are great.

Ok, I've got 15 plus the free ones. And 12 tins in a 50 cal box already. I'm set for a while. My idea of target shooting usually amounts to 15 to 20 pellets fired before I have to get back inside anyway, so these should last me a good while. What I want is these pellets in .25 cal! Especially at a great price like this

Yeah, that was an issue. I do go through a lot more .25 than .22 or .30 so only .177 or .22 limited my use.

Shot the Normas from the Timber today. Offhand at 25 was meh. To a degree, so was rested. But here the results of me shooting for groups. 😅Messenger_creation_1548085769831336.webp
Right side, some more plinking, then left group. Bipod and single load.

These shoot great out of my Notos. This was laying on the ground 25 yards out. They shoot great out of the Nova Liberty as well. Hope I can get out of town and see how they shoot 50 or so yards out.
