There’s a new SIG pellet pistol available! To be precise, it’s the SIG SAUER P320 Spectre Comp Blackout CO2 Pellet Pistol. Snappy name…
This new P320 model is a race gun version of the company’s pellet pistol platform. Hard Air Magazine reviewed the P320 M17 military version back in 2019. At that time, the M17 version sold for $120 when new, so the new model is very well priced by Pyramyd at $106.
As can be seen in the photograph above, the SIG SAUER P320 Spectre Comp Blackout CO2 Pellet Pistol has a full blowback action.
That metal slide is an important part of the realistic feel and handling that the model offers. It’s paired with a single port compensated barrel to complete that “high speed” look.
This new SIG pellet pistol is also equipped with a functional takedown lever. This makes it possible to field strip the slide, barrel, and recoil guide rod assembly without any tools required.
It’s also “optic ready”. The SIG AIR M17 Pellet Pistol Reflex Sight is a huge asset to this pistol. It provides elevation and windage adjustment capability, combined with multi-brightness control of the projected red dot. It’s delightfully small and light and makes accurate shooting so much more enjoyable!
HAM provided full details of this optic and its’ installation in this previous post.
The CO2-loading system employed in the PIG SAUER P320 Spectre Comp Blackout CO2 Pellet Pistol is – in the HAM Team’s opinion – the best there is at the present time.
SIG’s cam lever system is simple, easy and quick. There’s no screws to turn and no unsightly levers hanging down below the magazine. There’s no need for an Allen (hex) wrench either and no issues if that wrench were to become lost.
Incorporating the cam lever system into the magazine itself is also a significant operational improvement compared to having it located in the frame, as with some previous SIG models.
Other specs include 8.5-Inch overall length, a weight 37 ounces, and a 4.5 Lb trigger pull weight.
It’s in stock now at Pyramyd.
