EVOL New Pellet Offerings and AAA

So I've been reading some threads on the release of new pellets from JSB such as the .22 Redesigned (Deep and Shallow) versions. Also, JSB .22 Hades 25.39gr and the Grand 28.55gr has caught my interest. Then I came across these new AEA Center Punch pellets which showed good results on a video I watched. They're all available to purchase now. I'll be placing my order on all of them to try out in my Evol Mini 22, Paradigm 22, and Evol 30. Have any of you guys had your hands on them yet? I'm also curious on what Tom's thoughts are on these.

I also forgot about the new JTS Dead Center pellets in .22 and .30 cal. All these new offerings will keep me busy for awhile.

I'll bet when JSB redesigned them they did a bunch of accuracy testing before investing in production tooling. The longer skirt angle looks like they won't be having as big of a parachute drag, compared with the sharper angled skirts of lighter pellets. It will be interesting to see how these longer pellets act with the given twist rates in the Evol .22 for sure. From what we've seen with the longer ZAN's 56 grain pellets on .30 caliber, they do pretty well at higher velocities and longer ranges too. I hope JSB does a longer heavier Hades in .30 as well.

With JSB's new production dies, pellet size and weights are going to be fairly consistent from tin to tin. So now is the time to test samples and then order a bunch of whatever shoots the best. What's cool with the new Jumbo Monster Grand being just over three grains heavier than the "standard" Jumbo Monster's, at the same speed it produces 10% more PFE.

I'm trying to remember with the original MRDs if they were the deep or shallow skirts, thick or thin skirts, that did so well. I forget what MRDs Tom had the older Evol 22 HPS set up for. I'm wondering which version of the new JSB MRDs my 18" Paradigm 22 will shoot better (Deep or Shallow).

I don't know if this helps you determine which design was best for you, but according to this write-up on them, the deep thin skirts are the original but discontinued design that they are bringing back.

Not something that my mini would really benefit from but the 15" and 18" .22s I would definitely be trying them all in. I will say the JTS 18gr are phenomenal out of my mini and the other weights do well also. The redesigned redesigns should be promising

I ordered a couple of tins of the AEA Center Punch 30 cal 50 grain to try out. Fox Air Power had free shipping for last day of February leap year sale. $15.00 a tin is a good price so I hope they shoot well! I want to see how they compare to the JSBs.
